The Bronx - Peace Pipe

LA punkers The Bronx released their sixth album (titled, erm, VI) at the end of August and it has a lot of the same old punk rock that their last 5 have had but are moving a bit more towards some classic rock as well. Some great lyrics, some great drumming also, it is fast and furious with some great guitar solos too. Of course, after saying this I have gone with the reprieve of Peace Pipe where they take a break from the heavier musical assault throughout. This one focuses more on melody and form and even has a catchy chorus and some sing-a-long “whoahs” for good measure which often isn't seen from The Bronx. It’s a song about breaking out of the monotony of life, taking risks, and just living.
