Booze & Glory is a British
Street Punk band from London, formed in 2009. They started as more of a
skinhead type band but as they have gone on they have moved away from this for
a more polished sound. As with anything in the punk scene this has alienated
some of their fans and means that they have had the usual "sell out"
accusations thrown their way. Whatever your views are on their
progression towards being a stadium friendly band I think it's hard to argue
with the massive numbers of people that are now lapping up their music and
let's be honest, a great song is a great song no matter no matter how polished
it may be. You may prefer your music a little more raw and gritty but Booze
& Glory are still producing great songs.
Only Fools Get Caught was one of the first tracks I heard by them after
catching their set at Rebellion a few years back. It is a typical cockney street
punk oi sound to it and is a great sing along. This reminds you to do what you
want and to stick up for yourself. It is Only Fools Get Caught.
